She's a growing personality on social media. And Cartia Mallan has taken to her Instagram-fame with great heart.
The 18-year-old knows she is one of a handful of people who make a living out of sharing their life with viewers on the internet across the world.
Unlike her friends and peers who are busy working weekends at cafes, she told Daily Mail Australia that she feels extremely lucky to have a job through her social media profile.

Cartia told The Daily Telegraph a big plus to being an Instagram star is being your own boss.

"You set your own hours and you have to use your time effectively. It is a full-on job; there's never a switch-off button," she told the publication.
She is also fiercely loyal to her 329,000 Instagram followers and chooses to align herself with companies she uses herself.
"In terms of my followers, the one thing I always disclose is that I will never work with a brand I wouldn't use myself. It has to be authentic and quite personal," she added.

Her social media career took off after uploading videos onto Youtube about beauty, makeup and fashion.
Cartia, who is known to her fans for her unique bohemian style and bold brows, has since worked with big brands such as Sportsgirl, Bondi Sands, Alex Perry, and has created vlogs on her travels, confidence and spirituality.
She said one of her passions is to help young people live the life they want to live.

The Brisbane-born beauty recently spent the night at the Sydney Royal Easter show's exclusive glamping event alongside TV presenter Erin Holland and country music sensation Amber Lawrence.
Since moving to the Harbourside city, Cartia, who was a theatre student, is hoping to return to her first passion of acting.
